AJAY BHATIA (Chairman & Managing Director)
Mr. Ajay Bhatia serves as the Chairman and Managing Director of Celon Laboratories Private Limited. He leads the company’s strategic vision and governance, combining board-level oversight with hands-on leadership in driving growth and innovation.
With over three decades of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Mr. Bhatia is widely respected for his strong business management skills, financial acumen, and strategic mindset. His sharp executional abilities and collaborative leadership style have consistently delivered results, enabling organizations to achieve sustainable growth while nurturing talent and building high-performing teams.
Prior to joining Celon Labs, Mr. Bhatia held senior leadership roles at Mylan Pharmaceuticals, where he successfully led India Commercial Operations for nearly a decade. His career also includes significant contributions at MSD India and Fulford Schering Plough, further enriching his diverse industry expertise.
Mr. Bhatia holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management from NMIMS and a bachelor’s degree in science from Punjabi University.
Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Bhatia is a family-oriented individual, married with two sons and an animal lover.
RAVI KUMAR UPPUTHALLA (Director & Head of Ethics, Risk, and Compliance)
Ravi Kumar Upputhalla is a seasoned corporate governance and compliance professional with over 15 years of experience in legal, compliance, and secretarial functions.
He currently serves as Director & Head of Ethics, Risk, and Compliance at Celon Laboratories Private Limited, where he leads organization-wide initiatives in business integrity, regulatory compliance and internal controls. He plays a pivotal role in strengthening governance frameworks and ensuring adherence to global compliance standards.
Prior to this, Ravi served as Head Company Secretary at Hetero Drugs Limited, where he oversaw secretarial compliance across a large group of domestic and international entities. His experience includes M&A transactions, due diligence, FEMA/RBI compliance, and complex corporate structuring. He has also held positions with NCC Urban Infrastructure Limited and SEW Infrastructure Limited, gaining extensive exposure to listed company compliance, board governance, and stakeholder management.
Ravi is a qualified Company Secretary (ICSI) and holds a B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, along with a Post Graduate Program in Management from Manipal. He is also a registered member of the Independent Directors’ Databank (IICA, MCA) and a certified ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.
